A promising 17-year-old trackster from Lower Tamugan National High School will represent Da-vao region in the secondary boys’ 400m hurdle event in the 2017 Palarong Pam-bansa in Antique.
This developed after Joshua Hopano ruled the same event in the just concluded Davao Regional Athletic Association Meet athletics competition at the Mati Centennial Sports Complex in the city.
Hopano also won a silver and bronze in the other track events in Davraa.
He won the silver in 110-meter hurdles and joined Arvie John Arreg-lado, Ronnie Lopez and Jomarie Dumandan to capture the 4×100-meter relay bronze.
This early Hopano is very eager to go to Palaro and improved his eight place finish in the same competition.
Hopano said he will train hard and eat the rice diet to bring down the favored tracksters from the National Capital Region. Romeo Braceros
