On Tuesday, Kapuso celebrities Barbie Forteza, Andre Paras and Jerald Napoles share tips on how to prevent road accidents in Alisto with Arnold Clavio. According to Metropolitan Manila Development Authority or MMDA, almost 60,000 pedestrian accidents were recorded from 2005 to 2015 in Metro Manila.
Case in point is the story of a woman with critical injuries, who was taken to the hospital after an accident. The victim was crossing the street when she was hit by a motorcycle. She was even run over by another motorcycle as she lay on the ground. Meanwhile, in Malolos, Bulacan, a three-year-old boy was also hit by a motorcycle. The victim fainted and sustained injuries on his face.
According to road safety experts, some of these accidents are due to violation of traffic rules like speeding and illegal parking. Alisto also studies the incidents of road rage. In one occurrence, an irate taxi driver and a motorcycle rider were involved in a road rage tirade in Makati City. The two drivers were caught on camera hitting each other. Alisto shows what cases to file and how to file them in these violent incidents. Alisto also shares some of the reasons for aggressive driving behavior and how to prevent it on the road. Catch all these in Alisto with Arnold Clavio, Tuesdays after Saksi on GMA-7.
