A cash prize of P12,000 awaits the team who will emerge as cham-pions in the Sunday Bow-lers Club (SBC)-organized 32nd Kadayawan sa Da-baw Open Bowling Tourna-ment that will roll off at 7 p.m. on August 5 at the Fairlanes Bowling Center along Florentino Torres Street, Davao City.
Guesting before the weekly Davao Sports-writers Association (DSA) Forum held at the NCCC Mall Davao B3 Family Room, SBC representative Joe Torres said they expect 20 teams to participate in the bowlfest lead by defen-ding champion Homer.
The championship of the tournament presented by the city government of Davao through Sports Development Division-City Mayors Office (SDD-CMO) will be held on August 12.
The team who will participate will be made up of five members to play in a six-game elimination series.
Interested teams need to pay P1,000 registration fee inclusive of alley fees.
Aside from the cash prizes, the top four in the bowlfest will also get trophies.
The highest pinning, highest individual average, highest individual single and double score and highest team single and double will also receive cash prizes. A two-game master quali-fying even slated on August 10 also stakes cash prizes.
