The Davao City men’s football team twice crushed the University of Mindanao Tagum City to rule the Private Schools Athletic Association (PRISAA) Regional Finals held in Tagum City.
The Durians composed of 12 players from the Rizal Memorial Colleges and three from UM Davao first defeated UMTC, 4-2 in a game witnessed by a huge crowd.
In Game 2, the Du-rians again showed more grit and power as they duplicated a 4-2 victory over their host rival.
“The boys are in high morale because last year Davao City got lost,” said head coach Albert Ryan “Abing” Lim, also sports director of RMC.
“We were able to make our game plan. The boys, who were all fit to play were able to do it,” said Lim.
The RMC Bulldogs in the DC squad are Warren Ravanes, Gregorio Zamora Jr, Noel Teves, Geylord Onil Padernal, Archemides Ligaray, Khadaffy Biruar, Stephen Anotado, John Otong, Rongie Herminda, Alfonso Loenar, Romeo Poblacion and Krentz Orbigo while the three from UM are Fatrick Pacot, Michael Sam Ara-dillos and Mark Paul Dayanan.
