The Davao City Police Office (DCPO) will get 14 new vehicles from the city government in a turnover ceremony this morning.
This was announced by DCPO spokesperson Sr. Inspector Maria Theresa Plaza, who said this will boost the mobility of the DCPO and the police stations. Of the 14 vehicles, 12 units will be deployed to the police stations and each unit one to the traffic group and City Public Safety Company.
Gaspan said the new vehicles will be a big help to the police in the performance of their duty especially those police stations which covers a wide area.
“Dako ni sya ug ikatabang sa atong kapulisan sa pag tuman sa ilang trabaho kay ilabi na sa downtown area nga dagko ang ilang area of jurisdiction (This is a big help to the police in the performance of their duty especially the police station in the downtown area because they have wide jurisdiction),” Gaspan said..
