Before the playoff battle, an All-Star game will be held in the ongoing Davao Inter-BPO League (DIBL) on Sunday at the Montaña Recreation and Fitness Center, Incorpo-rated along Dacudao Ave-nue in Agdao, Davao City.
Appearing as guests before the weekly Davao Sportswriters Association (DSA) Forum held at The Annex events center of the SM City Davao, DIBL commissioner Mark de Guzman revealed that aside from the regular All Star game a three-point shoot-out will also be held on the same day.
De Guzman said the All-Star game will still be traditional wherein the organizers select the best players in each bracket and let them go against the best players of the other bracket.
However, he said that the three-point shooting contest however is special since it seeks to solicit funds to help Callbox player Patrick Lapus who suffered from a knee ACL tear.
De Guzman said after the All-Star game the playoffs will officially start on June 25 consisting of eight teams. The eight teams are: Teleperfor-mance, VXI Robinsons, Iqor, Sutherland, Focusinc, VXI SM, Offsourcing Philippines and Conectys which will play the knock-out quarterfinals before proceeding to the cross-over semis.
