Igorot warrior Eduard Folayang was feted with a parade fit for a champion on Friday during his home-coming in Baguio City.
Folayang, who scored a major upset against revered Japanese grappler Shinya Aoki last month, was paraded around the City of Pines in his traditional Igorot costume.
The former high school teacher also proudly car-ried his ONE Champion-ship belt as he was accom-panied by his mother.
Also honored in the parade was wushu fighter Divine Wally, who won the gold in the eighth world wushu Championship.
Among those who joined the parade are Folayang’s fellow fighters from Team Lakay.
The parade was orga-nized by the Baguio city government.
