Today is the start of Nurses Week celebration and will conclude on Friday, November 24.
If you are a registered nurse and an active member of the Philippine Nurses Association (PNA), Inc.-Davao City Chapter, a member of International Council for Nurses, it’s your time to shine and bloom as always.
Dubbed as “Nurses at the Forefront for the Filipinos and the World,” the program will start with an Ecumenical Mass, 12 noon at the Ateneo de Davao University Chapel.
Today is also the last day of pre-registration for non-PNA members for a fee of P100 only. PNA secretariat Vangie will not accept payments during the CPD seminar for nurses tomorrow.

On November 21 (Tuesday) is the Local PNA Election, which will take place also during the free seminar for nurses, entitled “Code of Ethics Seminar” with CPD units from 8 a.m. to 12 noon at the Mahogany Room of Southern Philippines Medical Center (SPMC) in Bajada. Take note that this seminar is free for active PNA members.
Don’t forget to cast your vote on Tuesday before the start of the nurses seminar!
November 22 and 23 will be the Membership Campaign. This is to invite all registered nurses to be an active member of PNA as well as to get involve with the different activities and projects of PNA-Davao City Chapter.
Finally, on November 24 is the Nurses Quiz Bowl for three categories as well as the announcement and oath taking of newly elected PNA officers. Closing ceremony will also be held during that day.
