The development of a new high-end residential community in Catigan, Toril will go full blast after the groundbreaking ceremony yesterday.
UrbanEast Development Inc. (UEDI)’s The Garden at South Ridge will soon rise in a 7-hectare property exclusive and gated green high-end community with only 187 prime residential lots and 10 prime commercial lots. It comes with P750 million worth of initial conservative sales value.
The project is a 187 combination of house and lot packages and commercial lots. There’s also the component called The Green House will be basically the leisure, sport, and social components.
“It’s going to have all the typical things that a high-end community would have, complete amenities. It’s a 187 a combination of house and lots only with six model houses (single and two storey residences in a 7 hectare community) and it’s going to be very intimate and exclusive and a real flagship development of our company,” Edward Bernardo, president of UEDI in an interview said.
All six house models offered for ownership feature premium finishes and meticulous design by one of Davao’s top architectural firms. Some floor plans can be expanded to add even more living space.
“It’s a very high end gated community. All of the structures for sale won’t exceed two storeys and just by the level of care that we went into it. It’s an Italian-Mediterranean all throughout which you will notice immediately from the gate and clubhouse,” Bernardo said.
Initially, the conservative the sales value of the project is estimated at P750 million. The developer has started making the drainage infrastructure that signals the start of the pre-development.
Bernardo said their license gives them until June 2018 to finish the project. The response of the market he said, has been positive though it was just launched a few weeks ago.
The project, the seventh of UEDDI is also being positioned to become the upscale showcase project of UEDI and deliver the best suburban living experience in the southern part of Davao City.
“It would be another landmark development that UrbanEast will proudly deliver to its clients. It’s a mixed use development so it’s going to have commercial, leisure, sport, and residential components. Even when we applied for this development we applied it in a very deliberate manner so it’s all on board, all the permits are in our hands, it’s a masterplan development, we actually got one of the top architectural firms in Davao and there was a lot of meticulous care that went on with this project,” Bernardo said.
The project offers a total of six Italian-Mediterranean themed houses to choose from and also offer residential lot-only purchases. It is named The garden at South Ridge because it is being positioned to be a community with abundant and elaborate landscaping and greenery and that it is located in the south of Davao City specifically in the Three Ridges Integrated Area Zone or the TRIAD zone of Davao.
The community will offer the perfect suburban living set in a highly accessible area. It also guarantees relaxing and tranquil setting making it the perfect community choice for the upscale market specifically the high-end Davao investors and investors in south Mindanao, OFWs, foreigners, businessmen and professionals.
“Although we have high-end developments we’ve been focusing on economic developments. This would be like a true showcase of our developments. Coming from the legacy of my family which is Monteritz, I have all intention that this project will be a success.” Bernardo said.
Bernardo said it’s time for Toril to shine with the Garden at South Ridge in the light of the numerous government and private infrastructure projects.
