Miniso, a store selling Japanese-designed products, is optimistic on the Mindanao economy that it opened yesterday its second store in Mindanao at the second floor of SM City Davao. The store opened its first one in Cagayan de Oro City last year.
In an interview, Miniso area manager Khae Sumait said that with their quality products, they hope to contribute to the economic growth of Davao and Mindanao.
Miniso plans to add three or four stores in Mindanao. It is set to open in SM General Santos in September and at SM Lanang next year.
Miniso is a Japanese designer brand available in more than 60 countries. It offers a wide selection of retail products.
“We are quality products and we are doing a good business because of that plus our great customer service and we really make sure that everything is at low price,” Sumait said.
Headquartered in Tokyo, Miniso was jointly founded by Miyake Jyunya, the chief designer, and Ye Guofu, a young Chinese entrepreneur. It has opened more than a thousand stores around the world and “dedicates itself to providing customers with quality, creative and low-price products.”
Over 80% of the brand’s product designs originated From Japan, Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, China and other countries.
