Going back to the era of Jazz opens us to a genre of many musical milestones and produced many phenomenal musicians in a relatively short period. Seda Abreeza brought us back to this era when it hosted a jazz themed party in celebration of a strong and successful business in the hotel industry.
The party sparkled and glittered with a recollection of “The Era of Wonderful Nonsense,” a period when entertainment and leisure activities were highly valued as demonstrated by the Sining Tala Dance Company who entertained the guests with jazz-inspired dance performances.
Coinciding with the anniversary celebration of Seda Abreeza, it was an annual showcase of food, music, and get-togethers as one of the highlights for the month.
For cold starters there was new Orleans muffuletta finger sandwich and grilled chicken Caesar salad on sticks; for hot appetizers/carvery station-roasted US rack of lamb with mint jelly, Bourbon BBQ baby back ribs, slow-cooked Angus roast beef short plate, deep fried cajun shrimp with remoulade sauce, mussles beinville, cajun crispy onion rings, and creole rice with Andouille sausage and red beans; cheese and chocolate bar-roaring forties blue cheese, coon cheddar cheese, camembert, emmenthaler, gruyere, Asiago, Malagos Chevre and for flat breads there were garlic, parmesa, chiki flakes, ciabatta, garlic parmersan breadsticks, grissini, baguette, rosemary focaccia; for dersserts-mini Reese’s chocolate peanut butter cheesecake trifle, marshmallow brownie crispy bars, chocolate explosion cookies, nutella fudge bars, chocolate blackout doughnuts, Ferrero Rocher mousse, french chocolate macarons with chocolate ganache, almond roca chocolate fingers, chocolated dipped strawberries, choco mallows and chocolate factory cake.
“We’ve been in the landscapes of Davao for quite a while and everything just gets better and more exciting from here. With all the great things going on in the city, we bring with us our brand promise everyday: to provide you all the best feelings in the world,” hotel manager Ken Kapulong said in his welcome speech.
For the past years, Seda Abreeza has trained their associates and further upgraded their skills to be at par with global standards. Last year, the hotel earned another milestone after the sales team is now certified hospitality sales professionals, the most prestigious certification available to all areas of hospitality sales to include in selling of rooms, conventions/conferences, and banquets-all of these assures that you are in great hands when you are in Abreeza.
Seda Abreeza’s Misto has also achieved great things this year including the Philippine Tatler’s Best Restaurants for 2017. The hotel was also awarded the Philippine’s leading hotel group by the prestigious world travel awards for the third straight time.
Seda Abreeza has also marked itself as one of the fast-growing businesses in the hospitality industry and has managed to put itself in a very good position in the market.
“As we begin another year we are motivated and inspired to be of service to all of you. As we say it is our way to express our humblest thanks for trusting us and for consistently supporting us,” Kapulong said.
The month-long celebration also kicked off with a CSR activity wherein Seda Abreeza turned over of two classrooms to Lampa Lapidan Elementary School, the beneficiary of Seda Hotel’s Hope in a Bottle project in partnership with HOPE Foundation.
The urban lifestyle hotel continues to help in the environmental causes as well. Staying true to Ayala’s vision of going green, the Sanipaan Mangrove Tree Planting continues on its fourth year. Seda Abreeza employees take a trip to Barangay Tambo, Vanishing Island, Babak, Island Garden City of Samal on April 24 to plant mangroves which serves as habitat for marine life.
