The young football players from far flung Maco, Compostela Valley Province brought the rain in the recently held first Ateneo de Davao Univer-sity (ADDU) under-13 girls Football Invitational 2017 over the weekend at the ADDU football field in Matina, Davao City.
The Maco Golden Davao Regional Football Association (Godarfa) Football Club (FC) won the title in the bootfest after beating Khanj FC 1-0 in the championship round last March 11.
The team leaned on the lone goal from Mary Grace Te, who is also the most valuable player in the bootfest to win the crown.

Adorno said their constant training and perfect execution of their game plan lead to the win the finals.
