Records also showed that 70,895 home-based, displaced families, or 335,064 persons, stayed in 409 barangays in seven regions in Mindanao, according to the Westmincom.
The different government agencies continue to generate means and programs in order to support the displaced persons in all evacuation centers as the troops intensify the offensive against the remaining members of the Maute group.
The fighting erupted on May 23 when the Maute group members went berserk and occupied several buildings and establishments when government troops raided the hideout of Abu Sayyaf leader Isnilon Hapilon.
