Homegrown developer Damosa Land Inc. (DLI) is now working on the permits for their resort community project in the Island Garden City of Samal (IGACOS).
Damosa Land Inc. (DLI) Vice President Ricardo Lagdameo said they are still going through planning and permitting processes. He hopes to launch part of the project within the year.
“We’re still going through planning as we all know sometimes it’s the most painful stage of the whole project. But we still want to launch something within the year, hopefully,” he said.
DLI is eyeing to develop a resort community in Samal Island.
“With this recent news also that has coming out about the bridge being built from Davao City-Samal it’s something that we’re excited all about,” he said.
Lagdameo also updated media about Seawind with its first tower targeted for completion this month and the units to be turned over at the end of the month.
He said the second tower will be finished in three months time while the sale of the units is already 90% sold.
“We’re quite happy with the current progress,” he said.
Seawind is a six-building low-rise development in the heart of the city. This location boasts of panoramic scenery from a 2.86 hectare property in Km 11 Sasa with an unobstructed view of the Davao Gulf and the Samal Island.
Launched on April 15, 2015, Seawind is the latest proof of DLI’s capability in relation to realty development. The master-plan includes six residential towers with seven to eight floors each, a clubhouse, a pool, parks, playgrounds and a commercial strip right outside with a public transportation terminal.
