Recognizing the need for a venue to discuss health and science in Davao City, SM Lanang Premier launched Connect, a specialized media forum that brings together press and partners.
The first edition of Connect happened last June 30 with Councilor Mary Joselle Villafuerte and Davao City health officials as main guests. They talked about Nutrition Month activities and other local health updates.
Officials from the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) in the Davao Region and the Davao City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO), led by Emmanuel Jaldon, also joined the forum to discuss early warning devices and disaster preparedness in time for National Disaster Resilience Month.
SM Lanang Premier actively supports its communities by sharing this platform to health and science offices to disseminate relevant information to the public through news coverage and interactions with the Davao media.
Connect is scheduled to continue every last Friday of the month throughout the year. This will give guests an opportunity to share their agenda for the upcoming month.
