Damosa Land Inc. (DLI) Vice President Ricardo “Cary” Lagdameo is positive the company’s Seawind condominium project will be completed ahead of the original schedule by 2021.
Lagdameo said he sees Seawind project to be finished a year ahead. Seawind is a six-building condominium project of Damosa Land Inc. (DLI) in Davao City.
“But to be conser-vative, we say 2021,” Lag-dameo said in an interview during the inauguration of Tower 1.
Lagameo said Damosa will be turning over the units to the new owners and at the end of the year, people can move in.
The amenities of Tower 1 including the clubhouse, swimming pool and the bunk house are already finished.
“The residents of Tower 1 will have some-thing to use. Which is always why you can see that we’ve cornered all around,” Lagdameo said.
Tower 1 has about 165 units and is 100 per cent sold since the selling started a little over 2 years ago. It is also considered the fastest tower that was sold.
“We sold that in 3 or 4 months time,” he said.
DLI is finishing Tower 2 and targeted to complete it by October, this year.
“Maybe end of October, beginning of November. Then, beyond this one is Tower 3, we began excavating earlier this month. That one we expect maybe another year or half of construction. After that medyo tuloy-tuloy na,” he said.
He said that after Tower 3, construction of tower 4 will start later this year.
The remaining inven-tory is roughly around 10% of the project in Tower 6.
“Few na lang in Tower 5 and Tower 6 is about 50 per cent sold. Roughly… maybe a bit over 50 per cent. Our target is to sell that by October of this year,” he said.
Lagdameo said Da-mosa will sell all units by the end of the year if they hit their targets.
He said 60 percent of their buyers are from Davao while the rest is OFWs and those outside Davao. “I would say more than 50 percent are buying for investment purposes,” Lagdameo said. Maya M. Padillo
