This developed after Southshield emerged as the champion in one of the categories in the recently concluded national football tournament, the 13th Del Monte Cup in Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon.

The team coached by former University of Min-danao football player Roland Manabit are also composed of Luiz Digman, Niel Imperial, Charles Kenn Chiu, Anthony Elor-de, James Gamete, James Delino, Art Romeo Eroy and Ruzchen Villarmia.
Southshield reached the finals after beating team Ollies from Bukidnon in the semifinals.
