A total of 900 families of members and pensioners of the Social Security System (SSS) affected by the 6.7 magnitude earthquake in Surigao early this month were assisted during relief operations held in barangays Washington and San Juan last February 23.
During the relief operations held at Barangay Washington Gym in Kaskag Village in Surigao, Senior Vice President for Mindanao Operations Group Eddie A. Jara thanked the beneficiaries of the relief operations for trusting SSS in handling their savings for retirement.

SSS senior officials were in Surigao from February 23-24 for the regional visit in the area to address the needs of its branches, employees and stakehol-ders.
