Curry, Thompson deliver 1-2 punch for Golden State
Golden State’s main gunners Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson delivered a clinical 1-2 punch to give the Warriors a 2-0 playoff edge against the Portland Trail Blazers last Thursday (Philippine time) at the Oracle Arena with a defi-nitive 110-81 finish scoring 19 and 16 points respec-tively in game two.
Other Warriors who stepped up to the plate were Javalee McGee who had 15 markers and Ian Clark with 13 while veteran Zaza Pachulia had 10.
On the other hand, at the Toyota Center in Hous-ton, the Rockets whipped the Oklahoma Thunder 115-111 with the help of James Harden who scored a whopping 35 points in just 37 minutes of action along-side Eric Gordon and Lou Williams who pitched in 22 and 21 points in that order.
Patrick Beverley also added 15 points for the scorching Rockets.
Meanwhile, the Wa-shington Wizards clobbered the Atlanta Hawks 109-101 at the Verizon Center in Washington anchored on the heroics of John Wall and Bradley Beal with 32 and 31 points in tow. LPP
