Davao City Water District informs its customers of two separate sets of water service interruption.
First set is on October 12, 2017 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. affecting these areas in Dumanlas: portion of Dumanlas Street (from corner J.P Laurel Avenue to corner Sto. Rosario Street), Southern Philippines Medical Center, Department of Health, and Barresa Compound. This water service interruption will give way to the tapping of a newly installed pipeline to DCWD’s existing pipeline for the mainline improvement at Dumanlas Street, (SPMC Cooperative to DOST) in Brgy. Buhangin. Once completed, the project will allow for accommodation of additional service connections.
Second set is on October 13, 2017 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.. Affected are some areas in Maa particularly Truscon Road (from junction of Ma-a Road to Villa Azalea), Villa Azalea, Orchid Ville, Nacilla Village, Juario Village, and Bugac Maa Road (from Nacilla Village to Juario Village). DCWD will tap a newly installed pipeline to its existing pipeline for the mainline improvement at Nacilla Road to Juario Village in Maa. The project, once completed, will allow for accommodation of additional service connections and increase water pressure in Nacilla Road to Juario Village, Maa.
On behalf of the DCWD management, general manager Engr. Edwin V. Regalado asks for the understanding and cooperation of would-be affected customers. They are also advised to store enough water prior to the scheduled water interruptions. Water supply may be restored earlier if work goes smoothly or later if unforeseen problems arise.
