Regular travelers all over the world do want something new in their destination plans, much more for the locals. But for the families and friends of Joy Soria-Mendiola in California,U.S.A. it doesn’t always have to follow that way although her family has been outside the U.S. once in a while.
Last spring break or during Holy Week season, the Sorias, Mendiolas, Enages, Villanuevas and Liaos had some fun and excitement while doing their camping at Lake Casitas – a man-made lake in Ventura County, California, U.S.A. It was the first-time for the small children to enjoy and fully discover the wonders of man’s creation. Some of the families spent their time there last Friday until Sunday while others preferred to stay for two days only.
For sure, all the kids enjoyed camping, most especially with bonfire and marshmallows.
At the end of the day, some of their companions in the group was planning for another different activity and that is called glamping – a glamorous camping where there’s no tent to pitch, no sleeping bag to unroll, no fire to build. Whether in a tent, yurt, airstream, pod, igloo, hut, villa, cabin, cube, teepee or treehouse, glamping is a way to experience the great outdoors without sacrificing luxury. Anyway, this spells for another fun after all!
